Western-style cowboy boots have a higher shaft than regular work boots, offering more coverage and protection from dusty or hazardous job sites. Cowboy boots are the original work boot, built to withstand the outdoors, last for years, and stay comfortable enough that your feet aren’t mangled after a day of wearing them. John Wayne exclusively wore Luccheses, bull riders sport Ariats for their local rodeo events, and modern brands like Tecovas make them for casual admirers. I did however, have one of the powerstraps get caught on a limb when jumping a log on the trail and actually pull off the boot.Cowboy boots go in and out of style, but their origins are in hard work. I really do love them.Ĭomments: Just a little added security if your boot does not fit just as tight, but the next size is too small. Voila! I'm not sure why Easyboot can't field test their instructions prior to mass printing them.either that or they should change their name to Cheezyboot.just kidding. Mark and punch the power strap hole accordingly. Punch your holes in the boot first, then measure the distance between the center of each hole. My PhD husband had to come in and retrofit it correctly. I followed them meticulously for the first boot, and the holes were WAY off as marked. However, do NOT use the instructions that come with the Power Strap. So far everything is great, I love the fit, the lightness, and the color. I highly recommend Loctite to keep the screws on well.Ĭomments: I recently upgraded to the Easyboot Glove, and felt like the rugged riding I do required the Power Straps. Comments: Just a little added extra security if the fit isn't quite right or for going on tough terrain.
